WelcomeThe Avon Lake City Schools PTA Council consists of an executive board and representatives from Early Childhood PTA, Westview Elementary School, Redwood Elementary School, Erieview Elementary School, Eastview Elementary School, Troy Intermediate School, Learwood Middle School, and Avon Lake High School.
The Council works to facilitate communication between the district administration and each PTA unit. The Council's task is to share ideas and act as a medium through which our PTAs can work together to tackle problems and issues that are beyond the scope of the individual PTA. The council encourages its members to consider challenges and solutions on a district-wide scale and facilitates united planning to enhance the education of children in the Avon Lake City School District. The Avon Lake City Schools PTA Council also acts as a link between the Ohio State PTA and our local units. PTA Council Committee’s and Services are: · Reflections Creative Arts Program · ALCS PTA Council Scholarship Program · Legislation · Health Safety and Welfare The Avon Lake City Schools PTA Council holds monthly meetings from September through May (December excluded). At each meeting, reports are given by the Superintendent, Council officers, council delegates, and the chairpersons of our standing committees.
